Global Child Care Services is a not-for-profit agency operating early learning and child care programs in Ottawa since 1974. Across seven licensed child care centres and a licensed Home Child Care program, our Early Childhood Educators offer quality, play-based programming and nurturing care to infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. Our Community Outreach team delivers EarlyON Drop-ins to younger children accompanied by a parent/caregiver at neighbourhood-based locations throughout Ottawa. Our child care programs are licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education and grounded in the pedagogical framework called How Does Learning Happen?.  At Global Child Care Services, play is respected as the primary vehicle for early learning. Children use play to model, create, explore, experiment, problem solve, interact socially, pretend and dream. Our staff teams develop programming which excites children’s curiosity, stimulates their creativity, and encourages the development of problem-solving skills, all within an atmosphere that seeks to nourish children’s confidence and self-esteem.
